"Island Pets has been truly a a gift from heaven. Moving here from the east coast I had no idea what to do with my fur babies when I would have to travel for work, which I do pretty often. I knew no one here so my first search was for a pet sitter...I found so much more than that in island pets. I never worry...I come home to happy kitties---a big difference from my travels in the past when I would come home to cats that would ignore me for at least a day as a punishment...with Island Pets it is like I never left for my trips. My girls have found a great friend, someone to love them and brush them, clean their litter boxes and some snuggle security when I am away! Could not recommend them more!!!!

"At fifteen, Mimi acts like a cat half her age because she is on daily fluids and a combination of alternating medications.  The only problem is what to do when we travel.  Aubrey of Island Pets has been wonderful with Mimi and our two younger cats.  Aubrey has shown remarkable expertise and love for animals in her care for Mimi, Tyler and Ellie.  She is worth every penny!"

"My wife and I are the proud owners of two pugs, Brutus and Ivy, both nine years old.  Given our respective professions and travel requirements, we have used the services of Island Pets on multiple occasions.  It is so convenient to have a full service provider who meets our needs whatever they may be; full service care (when we are out of town), dog walking (for those days when we are gone dawn to dusk), and bathing/grooming needs.  We have found Jackie to be extremely professional, reliable, and trustworthy.  Jackie keeps a set of keys to our house, just in case we need her in an emergency!.  A  nurse by profession, it is an added comfort that Jackie is an experienced veterinary technician and I have complete confidence that Brutus and Ivy are in expert hands should an emergency arise.  An added bonus.... both of our pugs love hanging out with Jackie (and her husband Jeremy).  We highly recommend Island Pets!"

"I am the first to admit that I am extremely picky about the care my cats receive from a pet sitter .  Finding the right person to take care of my munchkins hasn't been easy... until now.  Tina is the best!!!!  She really took the time to get to know Carter and Spencer and their little quirks.  My boys get quite distressed when I'm gone and Spencer sometimes won't eat.  And Carter tends to be enormously clingy when I return from being away.  Tina understood this and she spent quality time with them, reassuring them, loving them, petting then and spoiling them as much as I do.  Plus she gave the boys human tuna (their favorite treat) so that they would eat!  The boys were much happier and more secure when I came home and neither one were afraid to let me out of their sight!  I am VERY happy!  Tina took very good care of my boys and my house and she left me a nice report when I returned.  She also sent me a couple text messages while I was away to let me know my boys were safe and sound.  I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to be able to go away and know that Carter and Spencer are well cared for.  Loved it, Loved it, Loved it.  Thanks for the excellent service!

"Tina has given us the freedom to take vacations and not worry about our three kitties, one who needs medications for a heart condition!  She is reliable, trustworthy and extremely competent.  We don't often trust non-family members with access to our home, but we fell very comfortable with Tina.  We feel lucky that someone with her expertise as a vet tech is watching over our cats because we know she would be able to spot any medical issues and get immediate medical attention.  Tina is also a pleasure to talk with and we look forward to seeing her at Park Centre Animal Hospital whenever the cats need check ups."
